My top 5 news sources

อัปเดตเมื่อ 13 ต.ค. 2561

Bangkok Post (Newspapers)

https://www.bangkokpost.com/

During high school, I studied in an international school in Thailand and we were always required to use English sources for our assignments. Bangkok post would be the easiest and reliable English source we could find. At the bottom of the main page, there are lots of useful additional link such as learning English, travel reviews etc.

CNN (Live TV)

https://www.cnn.com/

I have watched CNN channel for the first time when I was three years old, which is the year that 911 occurred. It was very rare to have an English channel in Thailand during that time, but my family followed the news very closely and I do think they did a pretty good job reporting the news.

Twitter (Social media)

If you were following the news this past summer, you will hear about the thirteen soccer players who had been trapped in a flooded cave in Thailand. I followed this news very closely, and the fastest way to update any information is through Twitter. There are lots of reporters updated the current situation through their account, such as https://twitter.com/JamesAALongman?lang=en, the reporter from ABC News.

BBC Radio

http://bbcworldservicenews.radio.net/

Radio is another way that we can listen to update news throughout our day. A lot of people listening to the radio in their car when they go to work or after they're done with work. You can even stream it on your laptop or download an app to listen to the radio from your phone anywhere, anytime.

Live video from Facebook or YouTube

I think the Live option on Facebook and Youtube are very useful for both of the viewer and the reporter. You can get the most updated information and live footage all at the same time!
