I have known the two of them since I was still playing junior golf in Thailand, the sisters have always been really good players since they were young. I cannot count how many time they won the tournament and won a seat to came and play at Junior World in the states.
The reason I chose to write about The Jutanugarn sisters is that they have a huge impact on my life and a lot of women golfer in Thailand. When they started playing professional golf, their family was not a wealthy family and golf is obviously a very expensive sport. Their dad decided to sell their house and use that money to sent them on tour in Europe and the United state. These girls have always been the hardest worker on the golf course. One of the sisters, Ariya, had a shoulder surgery in 2013, she had a hard time adjusting her golf game after the surgery but she just made a huge come back by winning five LPGA major tournaments in 2016.
This profile on them, exclusively for Golfweek, is really well described their life behind the golf scene. It shows the readers that they weren't just playing golf and practice, the sisters live a very normal life just like us. I also really like this profile because it presents golf from a perspective of the actual players in LPGA tour. In order to be in the top 100 players in the world takes a lot more than you'd imagine, their coach, their caddy, their fitness and their mental game can all affecting their game. And most of all, both of them learned to have a growth mindset when they didn't play as well as they thought, and made a better come back on the next day.
